Communal heat networks and district energy networks need to achieve the regulatory technical requirements of the Heat Network Technical Assurance Scheme (HNTAS).
Under the codes, heat networks will need to achieve certification against these standards – which are designed to ensure network performance and efficiency.

As CIBSE: Heat Network CP1:2020 states the use of data is key to ensuring optimal performance of a heat network – ‘if you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it’.
We understand that legacy heat networks may not have the infrastructure to obtain network data and metrics, as they do not have the relevant sensors or metering in place.
At GESTI, we are able to support you with the installation of gas, electricity, water, heat or energy temporary metering, which may be funded by the HNES revenue grant, if successful.
